The Challenge
Pastrique is a cake shop and cafe in Kozhikode, baking everything fresh to order — handcrafted cakes, desserts and cafe food, with no preservatives. The quality was premium, but the business needed a brand and an online presence that felt the same.
They needed an identity that could sit proudly on a coffee cup, a takeaway bag and a staff uniform — and a website where customers could browse the menu and place an order in a couple of taps.
The Solution
We designed a badge-style logo that tells the whole story in one mark: a rounded arch frame like a cafe doorway, a croissant for the bakery, a layered cake with rising steam for fresh desserts and hot coffee, and leaf branches for fresh, quality ingredients. A deep green and warm cream palette with Agraham and Kiona typography give it a boutique, artisanal feel, and the monoline style works just as well in gold foil as it does embroidered on a polo.
The website carries the brand online with a premium, appetising layout: signature creations with prices, the Pastrique story, why customers choose them and real reviews — with WhatsApp ordering and same-day delivery within 7 km front and centre, on desktop and mobile.
